::who say?::
::you say, i say::
::who say?::
::you say, i say::
then tai ming came up with a really lame one.
::who say?::
::you zap, i gallop:: -.-
really had lots of laughs during orientation.
but one thing. no offence but, i have to get this off my chest. i'll come straight to the point - THE BAND SUCKS! BRING BACK ETERNAL LOOP!! not that i would have the guts to go up and perform, but really? can't they choose someone better? (and note to the vocalist: your ear stud doesn't make you any cooler. not that you are cool in the first place.)
but all in all, everything was wonderful. jaguar was so hyper during the finale!! everyone was just screaming and cheering and shouting! especially toylyn, whose shriek almost went into ultrasound. and dancing in the rain, that was a first i suppose. it's quite fun la.. although potentially dangerous to those whose immune systems are weaker than others.
sigh. back to homework and mugging and lectures and tutorials. PRELIMS IN 8 MONTHS!! ahh.. *panics* have to start working hard now!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR, EVERYONE!
may you have a fulfilling 365 days ahead!
thanks to those who have wished me (e.g. aggie & val)
yippee! let's brave the year 2007 together! (a levels. duh duh duh...)
i didn't bother to make any resolutions - never have and never will. i won't keep them anyways. =D
2006 really passed by with a mach 8-woosh. last year was really the fastest year ever. i still remember all the 1st 3 months subject talks in aj. and i still have to endure them during orientation 2007! =X maybe, i mean, DEFINITELY, this year will be even more rapid, what with a levels and all.
Should auld acquaintance be forgot
And never brought to mind
Should auld acquaintance be forgot
And days of auld lang syne
For auld lang syne, my dear, for auld lang syne
We'll take a cup of kindness yet, for auld lang syne
Should auld acquaintance be forgot
And never brought to mind
Should auld acquaintance be forgot
And days of auld lang syne
And here's a hand, my trusty friend
And gie's a hand o' thine
We'll tak' a cup o' kindness yet
For auld lang syne

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!
well, yesterday (christmas eve), there was a small party at my grandma's, complete with a lucky draw. my family won the most =) - 5 out of 19 prizes, including the 1st prize. (there were 10 families altogether.)
and i saw my fave cousins again for after goodness-knows-how-long. patricia then asked peiching and i to go orchard with her friends to catch a midnight movie. i wanted to go, and peiching was fine with it, but i didn't think i could convince my mum. but with the help of my uncles and aunties, my mum reluctantly granted me her permission (yay!). so off we went to orchard at 10pm.
OF COURSE it was crowded. christmas eve at orchard road wouldn't be christmas eve at orchard road if the streets weren't packed with people spraying all sorts of stuff from cans at passers-by. luckily, we weren't one of the victims. and after 20 min of squeezing and pushing and shoving and jostling, we finally reached shaw house. phew. it was so quiet up the escalator to lido; such a contrast to the scene outside the mall. anyway, we watched night at the museum. i didn't expect much, because it was given 3 stars i think. but it was damn FARNIE. if you have a sense of humour, i suggest you go catch it. really. do not pass up the opportunity. school starts next week!! also, i saw mark lee and his wife entering the same theatre as us. since no one was screaming his name and rushing up to him, of course we didn't ask him for an autograph or a pic. it would be so embarrasssing.
on another matter, i think our sl project on the 22nd is a success considering what we had to go through. although cute at first sight, the kids were a terror! ok, only a handful of them were really disagreeable. my group was the best, all of them listened to instructions and were willing to participate in the games. well, only one of them had an ego as big as the size of the pacific ocean? atlantic ocean? whatever. i think you get the picture (right?). he was an eleven-year-old boy. figures.
i really empathise with xinli and boon siong. you were really brave guys!! to endure all the pulling and scratching from the kids. especially xinli, with a plastic bag over her head. i think she almost suffocated.
well, congrats to 18/06 for pulling this sl project off! yay! cya guys next year!!

okok, so i know i haven't updated for quite a while. (quite a while meaning almost 2 weeks.)
and since i couldn't possibly recall EVERYTHING that happened in the past (approx.) 12 days, i shall try to just sum last week.
12/12: hmm.. i can't seem to remember anything on this day.
13/12: went to vivocity with some classmates to discuss about our sl project. haha. boon siong's gonna get KIDNAPPED! duh duh duh. then litian, xinli and i went to bugis to watch the holiday. it was ok, i guess. i warned litian it's gonna be a chick flick, but it didn't stop him from going out of the theatre halfway through the movie. hah. jack black is so amusing!! "accidental boob graze!" priceless! cameron diaz just looks old to me, not that she's that old, but her skin looks all shrivelled and wrinkled and tired.
14/12: lincoln and jun qin came over. and i was introduced to the "wonderful" (note the sarcasm) world of flyff. i have never been so addicted to a computer game since the craze over neopets. anyway, i'm currently at level 30 already, but i don't intend to play as intensely as i did the past few days. i'm starting to get sick of it.
15/12: went to the bird park. i'm lazy to post pics of the birds. to me, they all look kinda alike. haha. in the lory loft, vanessa went to feed the lories and one of them jumped onto her arm. she screamed and dropped the food. -.- haha. lincoln got his wish when one of the birds did the same to him. (he wanted to touch them.) the prettiest bird is of course the SNOWY OWL. (hedwig, anyone?)
valerie's off to EGYPT for 10 days!!! ack, so jealous. she gets to see the pyramids, the spinx and the nile!!
16/12: someone came to install the wireless modem. AND MY WIRELESS WAS REPAIRED! rejoice. and mostly played flyff the whole day. i have no life.
17/12: lincoln's bday today. i wanted to buy a container of haagen daz ice-cream for him, but didn't have enough time to do so. buying ice-cream as present is difficult! you have to make sure it doesn't melt when you give it to the person, otherwise it would be downright embarrassing. well, brought my laptop to his house for three-guesses-what.
today's my dad's birthday. went to cineleisure at 8.30 am cos there was a celebration of tengah airbase's 35th anniversary. the people did sing my dad a bday song. and then with the airbase people, we went to watch eragon. hah. ed speelers looked kinda weird in some angles. the movie's like
30% harry potter: eragon the 'chosen one' VS harry potter the 'chosen one', the fate of the world rests in a young boy's hands;
50% lotr: the battle scenes, saphira kinda reminded me of nazgul, the aerial shots of the actors riding across mountains;
20% eragon: the cast and plot are different
anyway. i haven't read the book yet, but i still understood the plot. can't say the same for some harry potter movies though, even though i have already read the books. i can totally empathise with those movie-goers who are non-harry potter readers. hope ootp will be fab. went to ikea too in hope of buying a light for the study, but ended up purchasing 3 swivel chairs instead.
